This film celebrates Anfisa Sharypova, a woman who has lived an incredible life and, despite her age, has not lost interest in the world and continues to be active in society. In 2019 Sharypova turned 90, and for 72 of those years she has lived in Chukotka. After medical training, she moved to the village of Pevek here to work in a district hospital which served, besides the local residents, also GULAG prisoners. Anfisa Sharypova has shared her tales of life in Chukotka with readers in her memoirs Chukotka – sud'ba moya. Now she is working on a second book.
