GAZPROMNEFT-AERO VOLUNTEERS JOINED THE CHILDREN'S EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM OF THE GOLDEN RAVEN FILM FESTIVAL
Employees of Gazprom neft's aviation fuel operator helped deliver educational lectures about film art to 250 schoolchildren in the village of Ugolniye Kopi. The action took place as part of the Golden Raven Arctic International Film Festival, which has been held in the Chukotka Autonomous District since 2017. The project is supported by the "Hometowns" social investment program of Gazprom neft.

Volunteers of Gazpromneft-Aero decided to support the festival in the village where Ugolny airport, which is part of the company's aviation fuel supply network, is located. They organized a two-day cartoon show for elementary school children at the local Education Center. Together with the artistic directors of the festival children watched animation films about the relationship between children and parents, love for nature and native land. Then the volunteers talked to the young viewers about the themes raised in the animation.

Vladimir Egorov, General Director of "Gazpromneft-Aero":

"Supporting socially significant initiatives is one of the key activities of Gazpromneft-Aero. In the framework of our social projects the company tries to create equal opportunities for children's development in all regions of Russia, especially in hard-to-reach territories. That is why we pay special attention to supporting creative initiatives in Chukotka. I am sure that this approach is the key to successful upbringing of the younger generation".

Philip Abryutin, Artistic Director of the Golden Raven Film Festival:

"For the Golden Raven Film Festival, cooperation with the "Hometowns" program helped us hold meetings with children not only in Anadyr, but also in Ugolnye Kopi. Working with young audiences is extremely important for us. After all, they are not only our audience, they are the future of our beautiful region!"

The events of the film festival are implemented within the framework of the National Project "Culture".
