Golden Raven Film Festival to get the president's grant for cultural, arts, and creative industries projects
In 2021, the 5th Golden Raven Arctic International Film Festival, featured in the Program of Russia's Chairmanship in the Arctic Council in 2021-2023, will receive a grant for implementing projects in the fields of culture, arts, and creative industries from the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives.

The Golden Raven Center for Development and Support of Cultural Projects Autonomous Non-Profit Organization submitted the Golden Raven Arctic International Film Festival Project for consideration of the Presidential Fund in July 2021.

The competition results were announced on September 25; the Golden Raven AIFF Project was selected to receive support of over 9 million rubles.

It's worth pointing out that besides grant support, the festival is supported by the Government of the Chukotka Autonomous District, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, and the Union of Cinematographers of Russia.

As part of the project, Anadyr will be hosting Chukotka.DOC film lab.

To raise awareness about Arctic cinema and enhance interregional cultural cooperation, the initiators of the project will arrange screenings of the Festival films in Chukotka (Bilibino, Pevek, Egvekinot, Provideniya, Lavrentia), the Sakha Republic (Yakutia), the Republic of Karelia, the Komi Republic, the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Arkhangelsk Region, the Murmansk Region, the Nenets Autonomous District, the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, the city of Moscow and the Moscow Region.

Project duration: October 2021– March 2022.
