This film is part of the documentary series "Kamchatka: Extraordinary Stories at the Edge of the Earth." Kamchatka and the Kuril Islands are places at the edge of the world, where the first rays of the sun are greeted, where there are countless volcanoes and the boundless ocean. Explorers, seekers, and pioneers have always been drawn here. It's an incredible story about enthusiasts whose efforts made snowboarding a cult phenomenon in Kamchatka, uniting thousands of young people and giving them a ticket to life. Self-taught athletes, raised among volcanoes, were considered the strongest in Russia for many years. They were the ones who made the first domestic film about snowboarding. Thanks to the pioneers of snowboarding in Kamchatka, the whole world started talking about local spots and athletes.
