The Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) is a magical territory, the end of the earth, Eldorado - where our hero is carrying the Holy Light from Jerusalem. There are many wonderful people here, which live an unusual, interesting life. In the forest, in tiny villages...in the Taiga. Their life is different from ours. Way of thinking, values, picture of the world..everything is different. Here is an amazing combination - Orthodoxy and paganism, described by St. Innokenty Velyaminov, a great missionary, one of the historical characters in the film. This combination is the originality of Yakutia. It's incredibly exciting and energizing. The energy of creation... The story of the journey of the «Holy Light» from the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem to small wooden temples in distant northern Yakut villages. Fire Sergey is carrying, across the country, to the Temples that he himself built ....
