The Golden Raven Arctic International Film Festival is one of the most important events on the
cultural agenda of the Arctic region of Russia. It is widely known both in our country and abroad.
It has been bringing together bright and interesting films, Russian and foreign cinematographers,
representatives of the film business and creative industries for eight years in a row. The guests
of the festival will participate in the events of the program as well as discuss the prospects for
the development of the film festival into a large-scale cultural forum.

ROUND TABLE: CINEMA AS A SOCIO-CULTURAL PHENOMENON AND A TOOL FOR STUDYING, PRESERVING, AND POPULARIZING INDIGENOUS CULTURES
Regional cinema is a special phenomenon in Russian culture, which has clearly manifested itself
in recent decades. On the one hand, it became a powerful statement on the search and affirmation
of ethnic identity, and on the other hand, it presented the viewer with an image of a familiar and
relatable native land. Regional cinema is less about the territory rather than about the people
who inhabit this territory and endow it with meanings.

how creative people and projects "reboot" their regions, why creative industries are important
for the country's economy and how regions realize creative potential in their territories. Is film
production capable of increasing the investment and tourism potential of the territory and
improving the quality of life of the population and the economic situation?

events, launch new educational programs, and increase tourist attractiveness, especially in small
towns, thereby creating an attractive environment for young people and reducing the outflow of
population to large cities.
