The Monsies live on a small, water-covered planet with ten islands, but only three of them are habitable, and the rest are best avoided... The islands of Monsealand are the embodiment of moods. Here there is the Sea of Love, the Evil Volcano, the glade of Sadness, the clouds of Happiness, the island of Dejection, the caves of Greed, where fears are found, the sucking swamp of Envy, the eternally cold Peak of Conceit and the lifeless desert of Laziness.
