Her 2012 feature debut as a director, «Daughter» won FIPRESCI awards of Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival and Warsaw IFF, best debut award of the major national festival «Kinotavr», and was selected for festivals in Honfleur (France), Cottbus (Germany), Gothenburg (Sweden), Palm Springs (USA), San Francisco (USA), Brussels (Belgium) and many others. Natalya cooperated as a screenwriter with leading russian directors, such as Anna Melikyan Kirill Serebrennikov, Vladimir Khotinenko, Vladimir Сott, Vera Storozheva and many others.
