"To see a snow leopard is to see God." It's a film about the search of the snow leopard - a beautiful and rare animal. There are only a few thousand of them left on the planet. Most of the animals have been given names but almost no one has seen them. This is a story about the mystery of human's contact with another life, with wild nature, and the search for the lost source of inner strength. Scientists, hunters, shamans, tourists - the leopard sees them, but they do not see him.

DIRECTOR'S BIOGRAPHY:
Anna Ganshina is a screenwriter, director, and assistant professor at St. Petersburg State University of Film and Television, a member of the Russian Filmmakers' Union. She was born in St. Petersburg. Education: VGIK (Moscow), specialization in film dramatic arts, Institute of Performing Arts (St. Petersburg), specialization in documentary film directing. She worked at the Lendok Film Studio in St. Petersburg, at a number of TV channels (TV5, 100TV, Russia, etc.), and with various film companies (SevZapkino, Miradoks, Lenfilm, etc.). Anna has directed more than 70 documentaries, feature films, and television series.
