The film includes 5 short stories telling about people who are not oriented towards big cities and consciously change their lives on their ancestral lands or villages in the Ugra region. The short stories "The Path to the Origins", "One's Own Land", "Accept the Challenge", "The Wallless House" and "Remembering Old Tales" show the stories of people of different professions who love and honor their land, promote the meaning of their life in preserving the national culture, customs and life of their ancestors and passing them on to their children.

Alexander Avilov
DIRECTOR'S BIOGRAPHY:
Alexander Avilov was born in 1972 in Leningrad. Graduated from the Faculty of Directing and Producing at St. Petersburg State University of Culture and Arts (1997). Since 1993, he worked as an assistant cameraman and assistant director at the St. Petersburg Documentary Film Studio. Since 1998 he has been working as a director on central all-Russian channels. He has made more than one hundred documentaries and television programs.
