The story about a little illegal migrant, Ademoka, who lives in Kazakhstan and is forced to beg in order to survive. At the same time, she is a gifted and talented girl, her dream is to study. Her illegal status and lack of citizenship become a serious obstacle. At some point, Ademoke gets a chance to get an education, and she is unexpectedly helped by a person from whom this could least be expected - philosophy teacher Ahab, a drunkard and a loser...

Adilkhan is a director and screenwriter, born in Kazakhstan. In 2009 he graduated from the Kazakh National Academy of Arts. T. Zhurgenova, majoring in Directing. Member of the European Film Academy EFA, member of the Academy of the Asia-Pacific Film Award APSA, two-time participant of the Official Program of the Cannes International Film Festival, Participant of the "Horizons" competition program of the 77th Venice International Film Festival and the "New Horizons" competition program of the 79th Venice International Film Festival.
