Through a choral diversity of testimonies, this documentary explores the myth of the axolotl, transporting us from the story of a chinampero whose lifestyle reflects the environmental decay of Mexico City, to the efforts of a group of scientists racing against the consequences of the extinction of our symbols and ecological heritage.

    DIRECTOR'S BIOGRAPHY:
    Student at the National School of Cinematographic Arts, UNAM, enrolled in 2021. He has been interested in sound and documentary throughout his career, which is why he specializes in sound design and mixing. In addition to doing sound design for several short films, he has composed original music for film projects. He has participated in seminars and courses focused on sound experimentation gaining knowledge in numerous programs of this kind. Finally, his focus as a director is on the creation of short films and projects focused on giving a voice to those living beings that cannot do it on their own, making use of an ecological narrative and international awareness about the environment.
