The 6th golden raven arctic international film festival to be held in chukotka in autumn 2022 Given the current international situation, as well as the air traffic and other restrictions, the Organizing Committee of the
Golden Raven Arctic International Film Festival decided to postpone the festival to autumn 2022, and to alter some events' formats and forms of participation of international guests.
Filipp ABRYUTIN, Artistic Director of the film festival: 'The multinational team of the
Golden Raven Arctic International Film Festival has been and will be pursuing one paramount goal – to unite the peoples and countries of the Arctic through culture and art! To create a continuous and harmonious cultural space based on respect and mutual support. Unfortunately, today we see that many of our fellow filmmakers from the Arctic countries have not only faced the inability to attend our film festival, but also an unprecedented pressure to refuse to participate in our unique cultural project. I am glad that among the world's filmmakers there are many people who support the festival and are waiting to be able to visit it again. We are confident that the forthcoming Sixth Festival will be not only an important cultural but also a social event – we will continue to contribute to building a harmonious cultural world in the Arctic!'.
The exact dates of the 6
th Golden Raven Arctic International Film Festival will be announced later.
