Mystic Chukchi parables, crime comedies, melodramas, and documentaries – the Chukotka capital will be hosting the premiere of graduation works by the students of the Chukotka.DOC Film Lab run by the Golden Raven Arctic International Film Festival. A total of ten films will be shown.
For most filmmakers, these films are their debut short fiction and documentary works created thanks to serious technical and educational support from the Golden Raven Film Festival and the St. Petersburg State University of Film and Television. The Film Lab was working from March 5 to March 27, 2022, and gathered participants not only from Anadyr, but also from other regions of Chukotka. Evening and weekend classes in the following areas were offered: screenwriting, directing, sound engineering, editing, and film production. The Film Lab classes were given by experienced teachers of St. Petersburg State University of Film and Television. Upon completion of the training, attendees will take a final exam and receive upskilling certificates.
The Golden Raven Film Lab works will be premiered on March 26, 2022, at the Polyarny Cinema at 8:00 p.m. (guests arrival starts at 7:30 p.m.).
The films will be presented by the authors – the Film Lab teams.
