The film is based on a real fact from the history of the defense of Leningrad, when in the autumn of 1941 a small detachment delivered gunpowder from Kronstadt, under enemy artillery fire and air raids, which was necessary for the defense of the city.

    DIRECTOR'S BIOGRAPHY:
    Film director, screenwriter, actor. Graduated from the directing department of LGITMiK. Before studying at the institute, he worked as a track worker for the tram and trolleybus department in Leningrad, and as a senior engineer at the Herzen Pedagogical Institute. Since 1968, he has been an assistant director and then a director at the Lenfilm film studio.
