    DIRECTOR'S BIOGRAPHY:
    A young Brazilian director, editor and producer of short films and documentaries. Cristina Neves grew up in the state of Piaui in northeastern Brazil before heading off to study film directing at the University of São Paulo (USP). In 2024, she received early recognition for her work, winning such awards as the Best Documentary Award at the Tainha Dourada Festival. She had the unique opportunity to make a documentary in China about the Uyghur people as part of the Looking China Youth Project (Mother River, 2024, not released).

    DIRECTOR'S BIOGRAPHY:
    Born August 30, 2001. Young Brazilian filmmaker, actor, editor and composer, studies film at the University of São Paulo (USP) and music at the São Paulo School of Music (EMESP). In 2024, he was awarded the best documentary at the Tainha Dourada Festival. He made the Mother River movie.
