50,000 years ago, ancient people began to create the first “documents”, scratching the stone arches of their caves, sketching the simplest images.
And the lines of their developed into stories about life, hunting, rituals, and dances.
The scenes, captured on the rough surface of the rocks are still alive and replay themselves even now.
Unknowingly, the lone winter fishermen reprise the scenes and patterns of rock paintings on the surface of endless ice desert. The ancient sea reptiles have lived for 300 million years in the muddy dark northern waters underneath their feet.
