Natalia Nazarova graduated from GITIS in acting. In 2012, Natalia Nazarova debuted as a director with the film "Daughter", which received many awards - the film received the Fipressi Prize at the Warsaw International Film Festival, the Fipressi Prize at the International Film Festival "Dark Nights" in Tallinn.
