Jessica Auer
DIRECTOR'S BIOGRAPHY:
Jessica Auer is a Canadian photographer and filmmaker who lives in a decommissioned fish factory in Seyðisfjörður, Iceland. Known primarily for her photographic work, she also produces short films that question our social, political and aesthetic attitudes towards place. While in Montréal, Auer teaches photography at Concordia University. While in Iceland, she runs Ströndin Studio, a photographic research center in East Iceland.
