The film tells about the life of Pomors, about the past and present. Over the 10 years of expeditions of the Solovetsky Maritime Museum and the Northern Navigation Partnership, the yacht “St. Peter” visited dozens of Pomeranian villages, tonys and Pomeranian camps. The film combines the impressions and thoughts of an old Pomor with the realities of a modern ethnographic expedition. On the one hand, this is a story about the modern life of people, on the other, it is an immersion in the past. This is an acquaintance with the indigenous people of the White Sea, with original types, an acquaintance with the philosophy of the Pomors - Russian people who live by the sea.
