Igor and his son Senya are passing a traffic police checkpoint in North Ossetia, heading to Igor's father's funeral, which Senya is unaware of. Igor recalls a childhood story about a turtle living in the roots of an old tree, which can be seen by watering the tree with water from a well, and shares this tale with his son.

Maurice Amiryan was born and raised in Armenia. Graduate of VGIK, film directing department, workshop of V.I. Khotinenko and V.A. Fenchenko. Currently, he continues his studies at a Chinese university, specializing in "Director of feature films".
