V ARCTIC INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES ITS PROGRAM
The Organizing committee of the V Arctic International Film Festival "Golden Raven" received more than five hundred submissions from all over the world to participate in the competition program. Most of them from the countries of the Arctic region.
On September 1, 2021, the 5th «Golden Raven» Arctic International Film Festival summed up the results of the selection committee and announces the participants of the competitive programs and members of the international jury.
Film director Yuri Bykov will be the chairman of the international jury. The jury will also include producer Anna Layla Utsi (Norway), film scholar Sergey Lavrentiev, festival producer Libby Hakaraya (New Zealand), film reviewer Susanna Alperina, and director Ella Manzheeva. Special guest of the festival is the journalist and film critic Anton Dolin.

The Arctic International Film Festival "Golden Raven" will be held in the capital of Chukotka Region, Anadyr, from October 4th to 17th, 2021. The following prizes will be awarded:
"Big Golden Raven" - Grand Prix of the Festival for the best film of the competition of full-length feature and documentary films according to the results of the audience's voting.
"Golden Raven" - Prize of the Festival for the best film of the competition of full-length feature and documentary films (awarded by the expert jury);
"Small Golden Raven" - Prize of the Festival for the best film of the selections of short feature and documentary films based on the results of the audience's voting;
Special Prize of the Regional Competition "FilmRising!" by the decision of the expert jury;
Special prizes awarded by the expert jury and the Organizing Committee of the festival.
The festival "Golden Raven" is held by the Producer Center "Youth Initiatives", the Center for Development and Support of Cultural Projects "Golden Raven" with the support of the Government of the Chukotka Autonomous Region, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, Russian Filmmakers' Union, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Chukotka Autonomous Region, the Autonomous institution of the Chukotka Autonomous Region for Cinema Distribution and Cinema Services for the Population "Okrkinovideoprokat". In 2021-2023, according to the order of the Government of the Russian Federation, the «Golden Raven Film Festival» was included in the program of the main events in the framework of Russian Chairmanship of the Arctic Council.
